What data the Feljib app collects, why, and how we protect it — explained clearly.

Who we are

Feljib is an educational BAC-revision application for high-school students in Algeria, available on Android via Google Play. This policy applies to the app and to the feljib.com website.

Data we collect

Account data

  • Name and email address (and your sign-in method: email, Google, Facebook, or Apple).
  • Optional information provided during setup: gender, level of education, and stream.

Learning activity

  • Quiz results, progress by subject, revision streaks, badges, and items saved to your library.

Technical data

  • A device identifier used to deliver notifications (if you enable them).
  • Aggregated usage data via Google Firebase services (including Firebase Analytics) to understand how the app is used and improve it.

How we use your data

  • To run the app: show the content for your stream, save your progress, and sync it across your devices.
  • To personalize your experience: spaced repetition and the daily challenge rely on your activity.
  • To send revision reminders if you choose to enable them.
  • To improve the app and fix problems.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use technical service providers to run the app, primarily Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, notifications, analytics). These providers process data on our behalf and under our instructions.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on Google Firebase's secure infrastructure. Access to data is limited to what is needed to operate the service.

Deleting your account and data

You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing support@feljib.com from the address linked to your account. We will confirm once the deletion is complete.

Minors

Feljib is designed for high-school students, some of whom are under 18. We do not knowingly collect more data than the service requires, and we encourage parents to accompany their children. Parents or guardians can reach us at support@feljib.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any change will be published on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
